![]() Students will design a simple LED light installation controlled by real-time video. Specialized software, MadMapper, is used to warp and blend projected images, so they fit perfectly on irregularly shaped “screens.” Students will be introduced projection mapping and learn how to use MadMpper using their own visual content. ![]() Projection mapping technology can turn almost any surface into a dynamic video display. This workshop is an excellent jump-start for anyone who wants to use mapping techniques and technologies for a future project. Giving step-by-step instruction and individualized assistance and feedback, CHiKA will teach mapping techniques using the software, MadMapper (Mac and PC friendly) that can be applied to projections and LEDs. ![]() Students can choose to participate in just one day of the workshop, or both.
